Design financial statements using sub-account segment structure and configured hierarchy. Publish reports on the web or distribute as Excel or PDF files.

Define monthly, bi-monthly, annual, or custom financial periods. Keep periods open as long as you need to complete data entry and reconciliation. You can override automatic assignment of the reporting period based on the transaction date – the GL system warns of potential mis-entry.

Enter GL transactions in different currencies with multiple currency support activated. Maintain balances in the base currency and the foreign currency. 

Maintain an unlimited number of budget scenarios, such as optimistic, pessimistic, or expected. Grant access rights for team members to provide input without viewing salaries or information from other subsidiaries. Approved budgets can be used in comparative statements and analysis reports.

Add new combinations of valid subaccount segments on the fly during data entry. This feature allows efficient ongoing maintenance of a complex reporting structure.

Distribute GL account balances over multiple accounts and sub-accounts based on predefined allocation rules based on percentages, quantities, or statistical data, or proportional to other account balances. Create and run multiple subsequent allocation templates.

Gain immediate access to GL balances with a complete array of inquiry screens and reports. Drill down to the originating document from any inquiry screen or report, even if the transaction was created in another module.

Create recurring income and expense transactions based on specific schedules and time periods. Design templates with expiration dates, execution limits, and custom execution schedules.

Maintain a complete audit trail of all journal transactions throughout your GL management. Entries cannot be deleted. Corrections require adjusting entries. The system tracks the ID of the user who entered the transaction. Notes and supporting electronic documents can be attached directly to transactions.

Record revenue and expenses when payments are received or disbursed rather than when the transactions occur.

Acumatica lets you write off small document balances. You can control write-offs using a maximum write-off limit and eligible customers list.

Automatically calculate sales commissions. Commissions can be split among multiple salespeople, linked to specific line items on an invoice, and paid when the invoice is issued or when the payment is received. Commissions can be calculated on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

Apply partial or full refunds to payments, pre-payments, and credit memos. Track and report balances by customer.

Automatically enforce credit limits at order entry, and invoicing. Customer Configuration options can block invoice processing or issue warnings. Create Dunning Letters for past-due accounts and include all related documents and fees and customize messages, attachments, and fees. Temporarily increase credit limits.

Automatically calculate sales and VAT taxes and prepare for tax filing reports. Customer default tax zones can be overridden during document entry. Supports multiple tax items per document line, deduction of tax amount from the price, and tax on tax calculation.

Vendor refund documents debit a cash account and credit an AP account. Apply a refund toward a debit adjustment or prepayment.

Customize your AP aging categories and create a full set of aging reports including total outstanding, past due, cash requirements, and vendor performance.

Accumulate 1099 information for any designated vendor. Track 1099 payments and produce the appropriate 1099 reports. Multiple branches can close books (tax periods) independently of one another.

Automatically generate form 1099-NEC for nonemployee compensation without impacting vendor defaults and current processes. 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC report e-filing are both supported.
