If defining core values is about building a strong corporate culture, it makes sense that many of Fourlane’s values relate to our employees. After much team discussion, we came up with the idea to make every day worth it.
On the core level, we are asking our employees to ask themselves—was it worth it to get out of bed today? Did I accomplish something or did I spend the day pushing virtual paper around in the form of emails and administrative tasks?
From an organizational level, this value will improve overall productivity. For example, when a customer service issue comes about, our sales team frequently feels responsible and wants to resolve it themselves. Will spending time resolving the issue make their day worth it? Or would it be better if they handed it off to management so they could achieve their sales goals?
We’ll find out!
