QBOA Tutorial: Currency
Our newest QuickBooks Online Advanced tutorial discusses settings around multi-currency. We’ll go over choosing your home (base) currency so that when you run balance sheets or reports, it shows that currency in the reporting. Multicurrency allows you to use different forms of currency (which makes sense if you have multiple bank accounts in different currencies).
We also go over why you may not want to have the multicurrency setting on. For example, you may have customers that do business with you outside of your country and pay you in their countries currency instead of your preferred. When we create an invoice, we build it so it reflects that currency and we have an exchange rate on how that currency converts to US dollars.
