Question:
Running QB Pro and QB POS (not sure exactly which version, not the most current but maybe the one before the most current). How do I automatically send credit card deposits to checking account during the end of day process?
Answer:
I usually set up a credit card clearing account (other current asset) in QB Financial. Then I map the CC deposits in POS to that account and also post the deposits in the bank to that account. This way we can reconcile how much POS says we were getting and how much cash we actually received.
